TL;DR
The GoHighLevel free trial is 14 days on any plan from the official pricing page, or 30 days when you sign up through HighLevel's bootcamp page, which also gives you a free live 60-minute Zoom onboarding on weekdays at 11am Central. A credit card is required for both. When the trial ends, the plan you chose is charged automatically: $97, $297 or $497 a month. The plan is free during the trial, but usage is not: SMS, email, calls and paid AI come out of your wallet. Fees are not refunded, so cancel before the last day if you decide against it.

Which GoHighLevel Trial Should You Take, 14 or 30 Days?

|---|---|---|
| Where | Official pricing page | Official bootcamp page |
| Length | 14 days | 30 days |
| Plans | Starter, Unlimited or Agency Pro | As offered on the bootcamp page |
| Onboarding | Self-serve, help center, support | Free live Zoom bootcamp, 60 minutes, weekdays 11am Central |
| Card required | Yes | Yes |
| Best for | People who know what they want to test | Beginners who want a guided start |
For most people the 30-day trial is the better choice: HighLevel takes time to set up, and two weeks go fast once you add domain, email and phone setup. The 14-day trial fits someone who already knows HighLevel, or who wants to start on Agency Pro from the pricing page.

What Happens in the HighLevel Bootcamp?
The bootcamp is a free live session on Zoom, about 60 minutes long, held on weekdays at 11am US Central time. HighLevel's team walks new users through six "quick wins", the first setups that make the platform useful quickly, such as capturing leads and following up automatically. You can ask questions during the session.
Two practical notes. The sessions are not recorded, so book a day you can attend live. And 11am Central is 5pm in London and early morning in Asia and Australia, so check the time in your zone before signing up. The bootcamp is optional: the 30 days apply whether or not you attend.
What Are the Six Quick Wins HighLevel Teaches in the Bootcamp?
HighLevel's bootcamp page lists six areas, taught as a click-by-click tutorial in a session of up to 60 minutes, every weekday at 11am Central:
- Text marketing setup
- Missed call text back automation
- Mobile app configuration
- Social media integrations
- Google Business chat
- Reputation and reviews management
Decide before the session which one matters most to you, and set it up first. A local service business often starts with missed call text back and reviews. An agency often starts with the mobile app and text marketing, because those are easy to show a client.
What Resources Does the Bootcamp Page List?
Besides the live session, the official bootcamp page lists four resources: a Lead Gen Playbook, access to a 5-Day Reviews Challenge course, a SaaSPRENEUR Playbook, and the HighLevel Launch Snapshot with funnel templates. The snapshot and templates matter most in the first week, because loading a ready-made setup is faster than building from zero.
Check the bootcamp page for the current list, since HighLevel can change what it includes. The page also notes that communication surcharges may apply during the trial, which matches the usage costs explained below.
Will You Be Charged During the GoHighLevel Trial?
The plan is free during the trial. Usage is not. HighLevel charges email, SMS, calls, phone numbers and paid AI to a prepaid wallet, and the wallet recharges automatically when it drops below $10. That recharge cannot be turned off, although you can keep usage near zero.
In a normal trial, where you build pages and test a few texts to your own phone, the usage cost is a few dollars at most: a local number is $1.15 a month and a text costs about one cent. It grows only if you import a list and send a real campaign, buy several numbers or run Voice AI. Texting US numbers also requires A2P registration, which has carrier fees of its own; if you are only testing, you can wait on it.
How Do You Get the Most Out of a HighLevel Trial?
- Day 1: set up your agency profile and first sub-account. Load a snapshot, a ready-made setup for your niche, instead of building from zero.
- Days 2 to 4: connect your domain and email sending, buy one phone number, and start A2P registration if you will text US numbers, since approval can take days.
- Days 5 to 10: build one complete flow: a form or funnel, a pipeline, an automatic text and email, a booking calendar and a reminder.
- Days 11 to 20: test it with real leads or a real client, and try the mobile app for replies on the go.
- Before the end: check the billing page for usage so far, decide on the plan, and cancel two days early if you decide not to continue.
On the 14-day trial, compress the same plan into two weeks and leave out the extras.
What Should You Have Built by the End of the Trial?
A trial is most useful when it ends with a clear decision. By the last week, aim to have these in place:
- One sub-account with a snapshot loaded and adjusted to your niche.
- Your domain and email sending connected, and one phone number set up.
- A2P registration started, if you will text US numbers.
- One complete flow running: form or funnel, pipeline, automatic text and email, booking calendar and reminder.
- The usage figure from your billing page, so you know what a normal month costs.
With those five items you can decide on facts: keep the plan you started on, move to a larger one, or cancel two days before the end.
How Do You Cancel the GoHighLevel Trial?
Cancel from inside your agency account: open the billing settings, find your subscription and choose to cancel. Follow the steps to the end; HighLevel may ask why you are leaving and offer alternatives before confirming. Look for the confirmation, and keep it.
Do it at least one or two days before the trial ends. The end date is set by HighLevel's system, not your local time, and once the plan is charged the fee is not refunded. If you have trouble, HighLevel support is available in the app and by phone at (888) 732-4197. Before cancelling, export contacts and anything you built that you want to keep, because access ends with the trial.
Where Does the 30-Day HighLevel Trial Come From?
The 30-day trial is HighLevel's own public bootcamp trial, available on its official bootcamp page, and it is what this page links to. The terms of that official page are what apply, and the trial runs for 30 days whether or not you attend the live session.
HighLevel does not publish coupon codes. Its standard discount is yearly billing, at ten months' price for a year. See the HighLevel pricing guide for every plan and usage rate.
What Do the HighLevel Plans Include?
HighLevel's pricing page shows the same core features on every plan: CRM, funnels, email and SMS marketing, calling, appointment booking, workflows, forms, payment processing and API access. The differences are in how many accounts you can run and what you can resell:
- Starter, $97 a month: 3 sub-accounts, unlimited contacts and users, and 24/7 support.
- Unlimited, $297 a month: unlimited sub-accounts, rebilling of phone and email with no markup, and basic API access.
- Agency Pro, $497 a month: SaaS Mode, automated sub-account creation, rebilling with markup, user and agent reporting, and advanced API access.
HighLevel also lists an Enterprise tier with custom pricing, a white label mobile app, HIPAA compliance and dedicated support. Billing is month to month with no long-term contracts.
Which Plan Should You Pick for the Trial?
Choose the plan you would actually keep. For a single business or an agency with up to three clients, that is Starter at $97. For more clients, or to rebill clients for usage, Unlimited at $297. Choose Agency Pro at $497 only if you plan to sell HighLevel as your own software through SaaS Mode; HighLevel also runs a dedicated trial page for that plan, covered in our SaaS Mode guide.
Starting on the plan you would keep is the simplest path: the core features are the same on all three plans, and the trial converts to the plan you picked.

Is There a Free GoHighLevel Plan After the Trial?
No. HighLevel has no free plan; after the trial, you either pay for a plan or lose access. If you need a free starting point, Systeme.io has a free plan with funnels, email and courses, and HubSpot has free CRM tools, both lighter options. Our HighLevel alternatives page compares them. If an agency set up your account and pays for it, you may be using HighLevel under its brand without paying HighLevel directly; ask the agency about the terms.

The HighLevel Trial, in One Paragraph
Take the 30-day trial through the bootcamp page unless you already know HighLevel, and attend the live session if the time works for you. Pick the plan you would keep, usually Starter. Keep usage low while testing, build one complete flow instead of exploring everything, and decide two days before the end, because the plan is charged automatically and fees are not refunded. The official bootcamp page (paid link) shows the current session schedule.
